I'm new to gentee - very new.

I'm looking for a program that will allow me to automate a few processes.
I've created an Access Database. A few of the tables are linked to txt files sitting on a server (odbc.) I have a make table query setup to create a new table with the new informaiton and then I have to run an update / append query to update the main table in the database with the new table I just created.

I have to go through this process for 4 different tables and so I'd like to automate the process and have it done every night.

I'd first have to run 4 world-writer reqports in J.D.Edwards. Once that's done, I'd have automate all of the work inside the Access Database.

Will this program work for me?

I don't know. I think it is possible but I cannot tell you ready solutions.
